6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. COUNTRY SHOWDOWN
KQKI FM, Bayou Vista, has teamed up with the festival to
present the world’s largest country music talent contest and
radio promotion. The contest spotlights some of the best and
brightest talent this area has to offer. Contestants will vie for
prizes, with the first place winner going on to compete for the
state title later this year. The state winner receives a $1,000.00
cash prize and then advances to the regional finals this fall.

Flash Back was founded 14 years ago by the lead singer, Tracy
Collins. Mark Stokes, also an original band member, is the
rhythm guitar player, bass player/vocal is Ulysse Dumesnil, lead
guitar, keys/vocal is Robert Dumesnil, and the drummer of the
band is Shane Wallace. They play an assortment of music such as
Country, Old Rock and Roll, Swamp Pop and Funk. Come on out and
